The Hong Kong Exhibition & Convention Industry Association (HKECIA) officially endorsed Better Stands at the Connect Market Place Hong Kong event in March, to key regional stakeholders in the MICE industry.

Stuart Bailey, Chairman of the HKECIA and Margaret Ma Connolly, President of Informa Markets Asia, celebrated this pivotal moment with an official signing ceremony.

“HKECIA is pleased to endorse the Better Stands programme and promote it to our members in Hong Kong. The main challenge in reaching net zero in exhibitions has always been encouraging the exhibitors to join us on the sustainability journey. With the Better Stands programme, we believe we can finally achieve this long-standing goal” said Stuart.

This endorsement is an exciting step for the Better Stands programme, as it spreads internationally and is tested across different regions.
