2 assessment methods are available: pre-event assessment and onsite assessment.
For a pre-event assessment, the service provider submits all the information required to assess a stand through the Better Stands platform before the event. A trained assessor reviews the submitted documentation and assigns the rating. The certificate is issued before the event. Spot checks are carried out as part of the quality control process.
For an onsite assessment, a trained assessor observes the stand during build-up and breakdown at the event and assigns the rating based on their observations and the information provided by the service provider.

No. There are thousands of different types of reusable stands, for every budget and aesthetic. The choice of materials ranges from aluminium, to glass, wood, plastic, steel and much more. All that’s required is that the elements are reused in a future event. There is no limit on design or creativity.
No. While Better Stands members are working towards increasing the use of reusable stands, there is no commitment to only accept or use Better Stands rated stands at any event.
