Designed for everyone
Anyone can become a member of Better Stands. Organisers, service providers, assessors, venues, associations and exhibitors are all part of Better Stands.
Members are able to use the framework and will be supported by the Better Stands Steering Committee and working groups in implementing it. There is no expectation for how much members implement Better Stands within an organisation. Many begin with a trial with a small number of events or customers before introducing it more widely.
Better Stands is stewarded by a group of industry stakeholders, the Steering Committee, who rely on the support and feedback of four key working groups:
organisers, venues, service providers, assessors
Better Stands Steerco:
Each of the working groups have chosen representatives for the Steering Committee, ensuring that all stakeholders are contributing to the shaping and running of Better Stands. The Committee is responsible for the governance, running and continued evolution of Better Stands, and membership will be revised every 2 years.
All members of Better Stands are encouraged to join the relevant working group to be apart of the ongoing development of Better Stands.
