Governance
Better Stands is stewarded by a group of industry stakeholders, the Steering Committee, who rely on the support and feedback of four key working groups: organisers, venues, service providers, assessors.
All members of Better Stands are encouraged to join there relevant working group to be apart of the ongoing development of Better Stands.
Better Stands Steerco:
Each of the working groups have chosen representatives for the Steering Committee, ensuring that all stakeholders are contributing to the shaping and running of Better Stands. The Committee is responsible for the governance, running and continued evolution of Better Stands, and membership will be revised every 2 years.

Expectations for all members
All members are expected to sign a user agreement that commits them to not altering the brand or the framework. There is no expectation for how much members implement Better Stands within an organisation. Many begin with a trial with a small number of events or customers before introducing it more widely.
